You might wanna check Zophar's Domain, they got the master collection of basically every emulator under the sun, plus other goodies such as cheats and hacks...

You can light farts on fire, as they usually/often contain methane, but that partly depends on your diet and gut microbiome. I have no idea if burning a fart changes or eliminates the smell though.

Warning/Disclaimer: Since this only works when you ignite the fart right by the source (the anus obviously), you run a risk of the flame going into your rectum and potentially causing serious call 911 level injuries, so I don't recommend trying that at all.

I'll take your word on that, I already feel like I wasted enough minutes of life even bothering to look into this nonsense..

That's the only reason I even heard about the whole 67 thing, when it came up on our local news regarding fast food restaurants.

It's ridiculous, and honestly I feel like I've wasted minutes from my life even asking, but hey, now I loosely get it..

It still makes little sense to me, but whatever 🤷

Oh I ain't worried about it or anything, just curious really.

I gather it's supposed to mean something (though I don't see any meaning behind numbers aside from literal counting and measuring), but seriously, what's up with 67 lately?

I do still have a lot of these games, ROMs, programs, music and videos from back then actually, as I was heavily involved in my area salvaging flooded hardware and data right after Katrina.

Within like 2 weeks, using WD-40 and a pressure washer for the circuit boards, I estimate that I was able to get about 80% of the electronics that came my way working again.

Mechanical parts like hard drives might as well be considered a loss in the long run, but if addressed quickly, cleaning the controller board separately often allowed data recovery and backup.

I don't have it all anymore, but I do still have a lot..

I'd go back to my old Hurricane Katrina flood salvage computer setup, specifically the evolved upgraded version by about 2008. I literally had 18 different cables plugged into it, with multiple devices connected throughout the entire trailer we lived in.

  • 2 monitors
  • A printer and a scanner
  • Stereo speakers
  • TV tuner with 2 televisions, a VCR, and an FM radio antenna
  • Game controller
  • Ethernet
  • Keyboard and mouse, of course
  • External card reader

And probably a couple other things I forgot.

Internally...

  • 5 hard drives

  • 3 disc burners

  • Floppy drive

  • 2.53GHz Pentium 4 CPU

  • 1 whopping gigabyte of RAM, 333MHz I think

And you better bet your ass I had lots of music, movies, games and emulators too, even had multiplayer sessions across different rooms.

Man, lots of weed was smoked back then...

Nah, they mailed all their customers, informing everyone that once they finished upgrading their infrastructure, that they would triple every customers' internet speed for no extra charge.

Then, as everyone waited in hope, within like 6 months they renamed to /Sparklight, and that 100Mbps > 300Mbps upgrade they promised disappeared like a fart in the wind, plus /Sparklight ended up eventually increasing customer bills anyways, without any performance increase.

Honestly I think that's exactly why they renamed, just because they wanted to back out of that promise, but didn't actually have the fine print to legally back out.

Cable One renamed themselves to /Sparklight, basically to get out of the Cable One promise that they were supposed to triple everyone's internet speed for no extra charge once they upgraded all their lines and equipment.

When companies rename themselves, they're basically legally relieved of any prior promises, obligations, or class action lawsuits made/filed under the old company name.

Companies that change their names usually do so to avoid class action lawsuits and/or to get out of obligations they previously made with their customers.

Edit: I probably should have posted that as a top level comment, but oh well, I'm leaving it here.

So you're okay with eating toddlers, gotcha 👍

I'm not sure exactly, but I'd guess about 2x magnification, and text is totally legible and easier to read.

The focal point distance for sunburning/fire is about 7cm.

The lens part itself is 6cm x 5cm.

Yes I did some measuring..

Like, in real life, execute doesn't mean to start, it means to stop...

I ask this because I just finished packing a pocket sized mini first aid kit, using supplies from our full size home kit. I'm sure people will mostly agree with the contents I packed, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

This is the kit I packed today, should I try to add anything else? There's not much space left, but I can probably stuff a couple other flat packet items in there, so am I like missing anything obvious that might fit?

Edit 3: Now the comment chain has gathered more comments, the glitch is still present, but occurs on a different comment now, meaning it can't be the particular image that caused it. Now the glitch is on this comment.. https://lemmy.world/comment/20483461
