It totally does, but it is super common because you can adjust blade shape for fancy cuts. See side view.

I have one of those. Because the blade is sharp and bread yields easily, you don't need a very robust handle, you could get away with a bendy coathanger holding the blade. The steel rod is quite solid,

Its easier to do artsy wrist flourishes when scoring the crust. Also easy to reach over a round loaf

The organization was my wife's effort even though I do 95% of the cooking. Being organized definitely helps the process, since we do every meal from scratch - including sauce making.

These, with another drawer of bulk spices for seasoning large pots of curry etc. The Salt Substitute is Black Salt, the hand labeled ones are Daal Masala, Hing, Mushroom Salt

I haven't used mine in forever, but if I recall correctly you could encrypt images, docs, zip files etc, and it promted for key password to decryot the document for viewing
