Unless they have $1mil to spare

The FIFA championship is going to be fun to watch. If not for the games then for the news. The Olympics too, if they will even happen

I basically have stopped listening to what they or any religion has to say

That said, many priests here almost never talk about god. They mostly function as coaches. They can have any sexual orientation they want and may even not believe in god 🀷

EU does not have the capability to produce or even a wish to do so. If EU were to produce what we import from China, we'd have to open up the borders way more to get the workforce that is needed for that.

EU is not able to produce what it needs. I don't see how this fee should change this. In my opinion this is just a way to fill up the financial reserves for EU to keep spending money.

It is very good at spending it

B would be my guess

Yeah I noticed. They have pLans to do so within two years. I agree that it should but doubt that it can. Especially as we see oil imports being diverted through other countries.

As mentioned it feels like whitewashing, just to clear one's morals while letting citizens and corporations pay the price.

Instead of creating limitations, they should ramp up and support energy sources and tech production within EU

Yet Europe cannot break free of Russian gas. Setting up moral limitations without considering the actual consequences sounds like a prime EU move.

I like a lot of things that the EU has done but it also drives itself into blind ends pursuing a theoretical moral high ground

Not stalking. I was just curious to see who accused me of being a bot, in that other community and in doing that, noticed your post.

If you just made a post, as bait for me to react on, or trigger me, then you're doing your part in turning Lemmy into Reddit yourself 🀷

You posted this, right after commenting on this meme, in a meme community. Maybe people are getting too sensitive I don't know, but memes are also used to make fun of stereotypes - not to be taken seriously or literally

And no... I am not a bot.

I'll list a few that I like but with no links because I don't want to use Amazon and most results that I find are limited to EU based shops anyway so not sure if it helps you. But I am sure you'll be able to look them up

Sand pendulum. Basically a pendulum that draws patterns on very fine sand. If you see them you can probably make one yourself that is even cooler

Double Pendulum, pretty cool to look at

Gyroscopes.

Tensegrity models. Those floating style structures that actually hang

Decorations with magnetic sand or fluid
