It definitely blows inhibitions and also makes do you dumb stuff, but nothing close to this level. I've done 8-balls in one night and have done dumb stuff I wouldn't have done without it, same as doing dumb stuff on alcohol and even weed. But this is so far removed from that, he'd have to have absolutely no idea about the dangers and I really think there must have been someone else who persuaded him in bad faith.

It took way to long to find something decent about this, so many shit articles and videos. I could probably find something better with more time but I gotta sleep, this is the best I could do and it's good enough IMO.

No comments about the "accept all or reject all and subscribe" really says something about no one ever reading the article. And just to be clear, I'm in full agreement of how fucked this is. It just really stuck out to me. And I highly doubt everyone who commented used some extention, script or service to get past that, I feel pretty confident that almost none did. If most did at least one would have posted a link so everyone else could get the full article.

It absolutely hit world headlines way before you commented... I had seen it multiple times from several sources before this thread was made. From local (I'm Swedish) news, global news (grounded and kagi news), youtube and mastodon (links to MSM articles about it).

The tram I was on with my dad and little sister struck a woman, she had an umbrella open so she didn't see the tram (it was a sunny summer day). It cracked her head open and I'll never forget that sound. The driver panicked and only opened the front door of the tram, right where the woman was laying on the ground, so we were forced to walk out of the tram and jump over the pool of blood gushing from her head. My dad tried to make us not look but I saw the hole in her head, and her brain. I was 10 and my sister 8.
She died on the way to the hospital.
And I just realised I now live in the apartment building right by the tram tracks where it happened, haven't thought about that memory for a long time.

Spinny stuff is basically the universe on all scales, so it makes sense. And that's fucking cool, IMO.
