Seems like it should be red-pill = science based, informed decisions. Blue pill = weird, ignorant, gut responses which deny reality.

The people actually making the decisions are pretending to know nothing when they present people who actually know nothing as their public speaking people.

But also, sometimes the public speaking people are just pretending to know less than they do themselves.
