The poor millionaire farmers are going to be just fine getting paid to grow nothing.
They voted for the market to die so they would get free money and that's what's happening.
yup, farmers union has some great PR making out this constant "woe is me" shit nonstop, but they're probably the biggest parasites next to wallstreet and the banks. that ol' mom and pop idealic farm shit simply doesn't exist anymore, except for rich retirees that want to pretend they're farmers in their golden years
the special bankruptcy class they get write all these "losses" off onto the rest of us, same as they've been doing for the last 100 years. uncle sam pays then to throw food away, every. single. year.

Trump is just here to oversee the dismantling and selling off of American assets and making the country even more of a collection of confused slaves that it already is, because the powers that be no longer have national but global interests, and to get some bribe money in the process. Everything else is spin.

It's not like the Democrats would try and capitalize on it. They believe these places are too entrenched.
But someone needs to help educate the farmers on what social policies would do to help them. If no one ever tries to change the conversation there. What do we expect them to do except what they've always been doing.
You're on the brink of war with Venezuela, they've removed Calibri font from federal documentation, and half of the White House has been demolished while the rest of the building is vandalized. And all the while, it's more expensive to feed yourself.
