The poor millionaire farmers are going to be just fine getting paid to grow nothing.
They voted for the market to die so they would get free money and that's what's happening.
yup, farmers union has some great PR making out this constant "woe is me" shit nonstop, but they're probably the biggest parasites next to wallstreet and the banks. that ol' mom and pop idealic farm shit simply doesn't exist anymore, except for rich retirees that want to pretend they're farmers in their golden years
the special bankruptcy class they get write all these "losses" off onto the rest of us, same as they've been doing for the last 100 years. uncle sam pays then to throw food away, every. single. year.
back during the great depression that had cops stationed to beat back starving mobs from garhering the food they were leaving to rot in piles
They're only getting $12B of the $44B they're down this year.
