Fun fact I have a swedish tankers trench coat from 1940 and a Swiss helmet from 1942 when I wear them together it basically looks like legally distinct werhmacht. I can pull the samething with an American armor school long coat and a Yugoslav helmet for the Soviet equivalent.
It's technically not Nazi apparel. It annoys my friends though.

I think Carlson is a bit too IDK weak, timid, insecure. Don't quite have the wording for it but one of the big advantages Trump has that most of his potential replacements don't is that his narcissism is so all encompassing that he comes across as strong to them. I think this devolution has been broadly effective across the board, from the highest elements like Musk and Thiel to the lowest dregs listening to some inane podcaster on the way to work.

Also a in a societal collapse markets will reestablish themselves relatively quickly so if you have a trade good like gold, copper, or silver you could probably use it as a solid liquid asset. Mind you I'd say a 1-2 year minimum for markets to reestablish themselves so you have to survive that first. Also you will be at the mercy of the merchants and tradesmen regardless.

All empires collapse it's moreso what you get out of themwhen they do that matters. Frankly I'd say the collapse of the United States will be ultimately good in the long run.
We will still speak the same language and Scarlett Johansson would still exist presumably if the US collapses. Hell depending on how it collapses it may even result in more good things popping out of it's former territories, kinda like how S.T.A.L.K.E.R. wouldn't exist without the collapse of the Soviet Union.

That's kinda the end result I would expect from music streaming being a thing. Folks with more specific tastes will gravitate to their weird little niche genres meanwhile folks who don't care will continue to listen to whatever popular trite gets pumped out.
Just looking at my quick picks that aren't artists we've got Witch by L-79, something in cyrillic that I can't copy paste or type (inri inri abracadabra), Vigspá by Danheim, several Hulkoff songs, and several Credence Clearwater Revival songs. Nothing about my fucking suggestions is normal and that's not even factoring in my digital library which is an ungodly mix of heavy metal, vocaloid, classic rock, synth, and whatever random songs I've ripped from games cause I liked them.
