I know someone that calls his parents by their names, and I've asked him why. He never has a reason other than it's a habit.

If i didn't know any better I'd think he disliked them.

I guess it depends on what you're writing. I don't write stories, as in novels, but i have written things down to try and plan 3D projects.

First it starts as research for the topic i am working on, then i write things down like settings, and goals, then it just branches out into loads of writing paragraphs and doodling charts.

I'm just glad there wasn't anything mixed into the water, and I wasn't being sprayed with some unknown virus 🦠

Coffee Run

To me it feels like a video game, but it tells a rather emotional story.

Always good to see a silver lining 😉

Possibly, but is also a random curse to have if that was the only symptom 🤔

Someone sprayed ME with a bottle of water. I was on my phone, and when i looked up this old lady was spraying water over her shoulder without looking and hit me directly in the face! When i asked what she was doing she walked over to me saying someone had cursed her, and her reflection in the window was facing the wrong way so she decided to spray "holy water" over her shoulder.

Thankfully after getting a COVID test done (this was in 2021 mind you) it was in fact just water.

I miss having a centralized community for Blender 3D modeling and sculpting like what Reddit has. I genuinely feel that this site has enough users to bring back a similar feeling community, but it seems that on Lemmy everything is so spread out. Seeing how I have finally visited the above communities and saw how sparce the content is I really feel we should/could condense the Blender topic down to one community, while also leaving a link in the about page of older lesser active places to take users to the most active location: !blender@lemmy.world. Is this something that the fediverse is also looking forward to accomplishing?

Edit: I am being told that one of these instances has shut down, so I feel that's just another good reason to consolidate these communities 😅

Edit 2: Not sure what the outcome has been since the most comments were saying was about the dead/inactive communities. So if anyone is looking for an active Blender community go to: !blender@lemmy.world
