Is there a word to describe feeling that you want to tell those close to you your deepest feelings, but you don't feel like you should? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

Schadenfreude basically translates to the joy of suffering. I don’t think it’s what you’re describing.

I think “reticence” is closer.
