My guess, without knowing the case, would be that he was brandishing the weapon and making the direct threats, making her "just" an accessory to the crime therefore lesser charge and sentence.

Legal rulings usually take into account the role one serves in a crime, so e.g. in case of a bank robbery, the "just driver" won't get as harsh a sentence as the others, as the driver usually doesn't waltz into the bank demanding the money, therefore those charges don't directly apply.

Nothing beats a JetBlue holiday...

Except for the USAF, it seems.

(yes I know the original is Jet2, not JetBlue)

Glad to see that with the new salary she can finally afford nicer looking septum jewellery!

That wasn't the point though... -40 to 80 is the APPROXIMATE range a person would want to describe in terms of "oh it's twice as hot/cold as yesterday", which is the whole point of the exercise, not to determine at what temperatures humans use protection against the weather, because guess fucking what, we protect our bodies even in optimal temperatures and weather conditions! Or do you walk around fully naked when the weather's just right?

A month's worth of comments? It's literally on your front page. No need to dig when the shit literally floats on top.

What's truly impressive is that you've been proven wrong multiple times, and instead of accepting that, you ran to moderators because your feefees were hurt. As such, I have no interest in any further pointless discussion with willfully ignorant idiots. Goodbye.

Why are you lying?

Also, just because you dislike a word, it doesn't make that a slur.

The group whose singular cohesive thought is worshipping Trump.

They're literally incapable of any kind of solidarity with their own kin that doesn't revolve around the orange child rapist. Take cheetoh paedo out of the equation and they'll incredibly quickly devolve into infighting about purity and ideological differences. They're already doing that on small scale about ICE targeting white people or the fact the Epstein files weren't released yet. Imagine what will happen when the orange turd won't be there to be worshipped.

The results are quite simple:

  1. the shadow leadership will try to create a small unified front using people like JD Vance to represent them. Some MAGA will fall in line but most won't because Trump is more and more truthful about despising most of the people in his cabinet.

  2. The various MAGA grifters will start their own offshoots of the movement with slightly different ideologies, but instead of working together they'll be fighting each other like how Fuentes is fighting the mainline MAGA grifters right now. They'll run their own representatives and denounce all other factions, breaking up the voter unity, resulting in vote splitting.

  3. Some republicans will try to claw their way back to a more moderate position, hoping to gain some votes back, but reality is, they'll need a solid decade before anyone trusts them again, if not more.

All in all, Trumps death will be quite beneficial to everyone. Except maybe Putin.

Yeah, okay, I'm not going to bother with the opinion of an intentionally ignorant imbecile who thinks asking ChatGPT for opinions is something to write about.

[–] fonix232@fedia.io 1 points 6 days ago (5 children)

But that shadow entity won't have the support of MAGA. That's the whole point.

Petit bourgeois are generally NOT part of the working class. They're by definition the lower segment of the middle class (European style class structure where lower class IS the working class, middle class distincts itself by the fact they're not required to be in employ of others to make their income).

Bitch, I'm in Europe, sick people aren't turned away and dying most definitely not.

Also, lifestyle define petite bourgeois not. The actual definition does. Which goes:

Petite bourgeoisie is a social class composed of small business owners, shopkeepers, small-scale merchants, semi-autonomous peasants, and artisans. They are named as such because their politico-economic ideological stance in times of stability is reflective of the proper haute bourgeoisie (high bourgeoisie or upper class). In ordinary times, the petite bourgeoisie seek to identify themselves with the haute bourgeoisie, whose bourgeois morality, conduct and lifestyle they aspire and strive to imitate.

The term also often stated to be of the lower middle class - however keep in mind that this class definition is the traditional British/European class separation, NOT the American style!

The European style middle class covers those who are not of higher nobility (royal family, dukedoms, etc.), are not directly required to work FOR someone else (albeit certain upper middle class members often take governmental positions that can be considered employment), and in Marx' eyes, those who own the means of production without contributing directly to the production itself, beyond ownership.

The lower echelons of the middle class therefore are those who own small scale businesses, shops, merchants.

Now I don't know what kind of doctors you're looking at, but even the ones with private practices do not belong in the (European style) middle class.

This is in stark contrast with the US style class division where the nobility (upper class) was erased and replaced with the upper half of the middle class, the lower parts of the petite bourgeois becoming the bottom of said upper class, while middle class got redefined as those whose wealth doesn't exactly reach the "millionaire" label (though with the devaluation of the US dollar this limit is shifting upwards nowadays), but also isn't exactly "poor" (so it's above ~$100k).

However even this middle class, in the European style class division, would still be lower class - aka workers. Middle class begins when you make a living without actually working. Let that be through investments, inheritance, generational wealth, fake and non-directing (and sometimes even directing) executive positions, or something as simple as owning a small business with people in your employ.

Again, an overwhelming majority of doctors, lawyers, etc., even with a private practice, will be directly working, so they're not exactly middle class, therefore aren't petit bourgeoisie.

My point is that the threat of legal action was enough that major sites decided not to risk it, and blocked Europe et al.

4chan is hardly a financial/corporate entity (though they do seem to profit off traffic with ads), therefore much harder to go against, but blocking the service is still effective. It will be up to 4chan to see if they want to comply with the law and get unblocked or if they can live without Australian traffic.
