Anime NYC held another successful edition this year, extending by a day and catering over 148,000 visitors from the US East Coast and other areas (+68.24% versus last year's numbers, based on post-event info shared with the media).

  • This year's event, held from August 21 to 24 at New York's Javits Center, hosted several events such as Play NYC, the Ani-Mode cosplay runway, the American Manga Awards and the launch of the Anime & Manga International (AMI) Awards.

  • Several concerts were also hosted, featuring JAM Project (One Punch Man), Yoko Takahashi (Neon Genesis Evangelion), as well as the New York leg of this year's hololive STAGE World Tour.
