PHOTOS: Take a look at how this year's event captured the VTuber fandom in the East Coast

Anime NYC held another successful edition this year, extending by a day and catering over 148,000 visitors from the US East Coast and other areas (+68.24% versus last year's numbers, based on post-event info shared with the media).

This year's event, held from August 21 to 24 at New York's Javits Center, hosted several events such as Play NYC, the Ani-Mode cosplay runway, the American Manga Awards and the launch of the Anime & Manga International (AMI) Awards.

Several concerts were also hosted, featuring JAM Project (One Punch Man), Yoko Takahashi (Neon Genesis Evangelion), as well as the New York leg of this year's hololive STAGE World Tour.

VTuber NewsDrop was given access to this year's spectacle, and we sent in one of our newest correspondents Jimmy Li to capture the moments from the event. [...]
