Hi everyone!
While I've been focused on our upcoming server migration (more on that soon!), @Endmaker@ani.social has been doing a great job keeping the vibes alive here.
Since they clearly share our love for the game and this community, I've asked them to come aboard as a moderator, and they've graciously accepted.
No dramatic changes here- this just gives a hopefully familiar face more ways to interact with the community they are already supporting.

They exist but they're supposed to be labeled. There's an account setting to mark an account as a bot. Anyone deploying them in good faith should be flagging them appropriately.

That instance/server was used for testing PieFed functionality and has been shut down.
Our instance is in the process of relocating so it was a good time to see how things compare. Our members weren't interested so it was shut down in favor of prioritizing the relocation of the Lemmy instance. At some point I may come back to it.
I laughed super hard at this but some people don't smoke like a chimney hahaha
We moved to a new server as our old host was shutting down. The links to the main room have been updated appropriately.

Lemon balm is one of my favorite things to add to fresh mint tea. The lemon scent and flavor can be INTENSE for something that isn't a lemon lol.
