It might be the other way round, but even oil producers buy oil

Mate, you aren't getting the point.

The formal reason why Venezuela has been sanctioned is to stop oil getting to Russia.

The other guy is pointing out that the sanctions are only being enforced by America because Trump has personal beef with Maduro.

As soon as Putin requests (orders) the blockade lifted then Trump will do so.

Trump does not give a shit about Ukraine.

Leaders of all "developed" nations need to look at this.

Birth rates are plummeting, and its not because of some religious children of men scenario or plastics in our sperm.

People just don't want kids, and why would we? World is a shithole, everything costs too much and we are being constantly reminded that WW3 is just around the corner.

And can guarantee European leaders will bottle it.

Pivoting away from Europe and towards America was the most moronic act of self harm this country ever committed.

Went to Mexico as a UK tourist a few years ago (Maya Riviera).

It was amazing, the people are so friendly. The only dickheads we met were the Americans who were treating the staff like shit.

We made up for it by tipping them extra and being super nice to them. Our pool attendant couldn't do enough for us, proactively bringing us drinks and snacks.

She ignored the Americans and when they asked for something they got told to go to the bar.

Well it's obvious why. There is literally fuck all either country could do to materially support them.

For all that's happening with China, it's navy is still confined to China's sphere of influence. I've no doubt that whilst it would give the US Navy a bloody nose during an invasion of Taiwan, its a totally different ball game when it comes to projecting power.

Currently only three navies in the world have the ability to project any sort of military power of significance, the USA, UK and France. Sending the Chinese navy into America's backyard would be a death sentence.

As for Russia? Well they're an absolute joke. Their navy is unable to withstand attacks from a country with no navy.

And in any event, any attempt to intervene militarily would potentially invite a response from NATO and Australia.

In a world where people have nothing to lose, the people in power will need to be afraid.

Seriously, if we end up in a situation where we have mass unemployment with no safety net because of AI, billionaires and politicians will be hanging from lampposts.

Its fucking diabolical if that ends up being true.

I get when it might be useful for actual visa applicants wanting to live and work there, but the prospect of being barred from going to Disneyland because I laughed at a clip of his tiny mushroom dick in an episode of South Park is just bullshit.

All it means is I'll be not returning to America until 2029 at the earliest. Ive always wanted to visit Canada tbh

No, you apply for an ESTA weeks/months beforehand.

There is currently an optional box to provide social media info.

No doubt anything you provide is reviewed by CBP in the weeks leading up to your trip.

How the fuck they'd be able to find out if you have an account if you don't provide anything I'm not sure. Or if you don't provide them with burner email addresses.

I suspect the tech companies will be complicit.
