I have very slow days at work most days, so I keep my sort on all/new to have new shit to look at during the day. Hot only really sees new content like 3 or 4 times a day.

When I had a bunch of unpaid debts, I would block their numbers and wait for them to send mail. When the mail came, it almost always included some sort of "contest this debt" box that you could tick and mail back to them. That shut a good amount of them up, since apparently a lot of second and third hand debt buyers have shitty bookkeeping and have either lost or can't be bothered to find proof of your debt.
This definitely does not work across the board, big credit card companies can and will file suit against you. I had to deal with a court case for a $500 balance on a capital one card at one point.
If you're planning on filing for bankruptcy, they should shut up pretty quickly after you file.

Yup! Dark red stain+poly. Hoping that using an oil based one will be able to somewhat sidestep the issue that my garage is like 40° right now.
I'm about halfway through the biggest furniture commission I've had so far. It's only a small bookshelf, but it's solid 1" thick red oak with wenge accents. I've only messed up a couple of minor things along the way 😅
A little super glue and a chunk of dowel, maybe?
