Hello, comrades! I recently decided to peruse Rumble, as some of the channels on youtube have migrated there. I watch pred catching vids and youtube has cracked down on them. Anyways, on a whim I decided to check out the politics/news section. There's a bunch of less than intelligent creators but every so often I'll find a leftist video channel. Not many, but my journey has a long way to go. Anyways, does anyone else look for leftists on alt video/conservative video sites?

When you say leftist what do you mean?

Not OP, but great question. A lot of discourse seems to imply that we should already know.

Historically, there were groups that identified that way for very specific reasons (against European monarchy in Central America for instance).

In the US, at least, these concepts are quite loosely defined, and I'd even argue, undefined.

They're vaguely defined by design in the US. It makes it easier to condemn an amorphous blob of vague ideas that ranges from centrist liberalism to anarchy than to actually have to engage in substantive arguments. Especially when all the existing structures that be fall in line to convince the masses of it.

To me leftists begin at being anticapitalist. I ask the question because its hard to even really know what "leftist" would be on Rumble. That platform is 1) for pedophile Nazis and 2) botted to hell and back. You're not getting through to people genuinely on Rumble - it's the Twitter of streaming platforms (maybe second to Kick idk).

In America, leftist begins at prosociality and basic humanity. I'm not even kidding. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I disagree mostly in the name of being specific with my words. Most people who espouse these politics in the US are neolibs who balk at having to alter their lives in any way to achieve those goals. They agree with policy like that right up until they have to do their part and help pay for it with their taxes.

Not saying these are your politics btw in case that wasn't clear.

The Convo Couch, I found someone that's a socialist, and some other creators.

never been to the Rumble Quarantine Zone but I would put on a hazmat suit first if I were you

No, because I don't go on any video platforms.

Nope. Terrible signal/noise ratio. My video watching is mostly peertube and YT when I can't find something elsewhere.
