I prefer hentai/rule34 but real porn can be fine too. I know that not all porn industries are bad but I do know that there are, or at least were, some really bad ones. Also, I'm mostly into tentacle hentai and live action tentacle hentai is usually absolutely terrible.

Mostly unethical and exploitative. There was some good consentual stuff a decade ago in the amateur scene but it mostly got wiped when everyone tried to purge all unlicensed material. Hasn't come back because in this economy it just doesn't make sense to make anything like that again for free.

I hear there's ethical production companies now but it's paywalled so anyone who isn't paying for porn is basically getting pavloved into the most rapey antics you will ever witness for generations to come

I'd like to be in it.

Lemme break Bonnie Blue's record and get that shit on video.

If actors have good safety measures & enforced regulations I think it's a positive thing for viewers in moderation. Some folks have trouble with moderation or telling the difference between fantasy and reality though and should be more cautious.

Some written stuff I love, erotica, stories. Video no, I've not found much I like at all.

I read the first part, it's great. Sarah is a good friend, lol.

Interesting

There are a lot of issues with the industry surrounding pornography (most of which would be fixed by sex workers being able to unionise), but the entertainment itself is morally neutral.

I like it because it's a tool to explore sexuality in a way that my imagination could never. It's an incredible experience to come across something so sexy that I never would've imagined would push my buttons in just the right way.

It also shows me what I like and dislike, or what I could like in the right context, and makes me reflect on why I like those things.

Other times, I've had a "wtf are we doing" kind of moment, wondering why or how we even got to this weird thing that we need to insert appendages into orifices. Like, isn't it absurd on some level?

Indifferent. Not sure why I feel indifference, but it might be from not ever looking at it.

Meh. That is how I feel. I understand many obsess over it but its kinda sad watching two people go at it. I do like naked women but is that porn? Not unless they are doing something. Some lady with her bits exposed isn't really what I would call porn.

[–] Asfalttikyntaja@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 week ago

This is exactly what I think.

I feel bad for the girls who are exploited or felt like they didn't have a choice. Those East European or South East Asian countries.

I know this is probably not a popular take on porn, but I can't wait for AI porn. It's not exactly guilt free since the model uses real exploited girls, but at least it's taking the current data and remixing it into new content.
