Upvotes!/downvotes shouldn't reflect how much you agree with the content. It should be a metric for whether it adds something of value to the fediverse.
Otherwise, default sort would just be an echo chamber.

Yup. I have yet to see effective proposals regarding VPN bans that would still enable me to do my job
"Fine, I'll use SSH -L instead, then"
I'm willing to bet that the legislation fails to properly define VPN in a way that actually includes the stuff they want to ban.
Not really. I just have a very specific childhood memory of sitting in the backseat of my aunts car with my cousins, listening to it. Years later we happened to find the casette at their place.
I don't know (pun intended, i am no coward; I intend my puns), but the juicebox emoji leaves no doubt when it comes to intent.
I've never heard the song before so I was curious if the artist was Jewish or something, but I see no obvious cause why this artist or song in particular would attract that kind of fauna in the comment section. From what I can see she's an Italian artist without much fame outside of this song.
Not only that song, but I remember it from I was a kid, long before hampsterdance existed.
The original is from Disney's version of Robin Hood, you know that version with the fox and the other animals. And I am pretty sure that the one that was sped up and used for hampsterdance is the intro song to the Norwegian version of the audiobook, recorded by Øystein Sunde in 1974.
I have most things that I want, so... peace and quiet, I guess
Go away, Mariah
