Bowl of assorted of broken Candy Canes. (Cane being the operative word.) Meheheheheh I'm a funny man... Okay okay.
Assuming you have access to a microwave where you're going or you can microwave it at home if you're not going far:
Pick up a premade spinach, artichoke, or mexican-ish dip, and some parmesan or shredded cheese that'll go with the dip.
Bring a big microwave safe bowl.
Get some greek pita/plain chips.
Sprinkle the cheese on top, nuke it 'til it's warm and gooey.
If you can broil it in the oven for a bit beforehand that'd be ideal but then you might as well do the brie.
Funny, because it's the OT/PT department party. It's at a friend's house so i could go a few minutes early and pop it into her oven when we arrive. Thanks!
The brie isn't hard, it just requires two hands and standing at the stove.
Okay, that being the case I'd suggest you nuke the dip WITHOUT the cheese for a few minutes first to warm it up at their place. Nuke 30secs, mix, nuke 30secs, mix. Etc etc until it's warm maybe even steaming.
Then add the cheese on top once it's warm/hot and broil it. That way it's faster and you aren't relying on the oven to warm the whole thing up. Just to broil the cheese on top to make it look and taste good. (And it'll broil faster so less standing/watching.)
PS: You can still bring the bowl full of broken candy canes if you think the joke'll land. Meheheh...
Good luck and speedy recovery.
