It was Colorado, and it was purely symbolic. If his DOJ were to take this one to the Supreme Court, and SCOTUS rules in favor of the Trump Admin, then the US Constitution, which is currently only wounded (gravely), would be truly dead.

Entertainment is getting worse and you're getting old. The media landscape has fractured, and there are no dominant cultural touchstones anymore. You're looking for media in all the ways you used to, but everything is different now. There is still plenty of amazing long form content on YouTube, and lots of great movies. You have to do more seeking now, though, where before you could just open up YouTube or turn on the TV
The movie Koyaanisqatsi has some documentary footage of New York City streets from the late 70s, and there are some scenes where they're packed. I've never been to NY so can't speak from experience, but if they're less busy now, maybe that has to do with cultural changes and the internet replacing much of what we used to do in real life?

What's crazy is how much deference the media continues to give this guy. Trump said in a social media post "consider Venezuelan airspace closed." He didn't say anything at all in an official capacity, much less take any steps to set up a no-fly zone, which is what it would take to actually close Venezuelan airspace. This is just a thought he had while he was pooping
I live in Texas, and can confidently tell you the people writing these laws have no fundamental concept of what the internet is or how to implement or enforce such a law for consistent adherence.
I can also tell you with confidence this law will be wielded with impunity against specific companies/sites our corrupt, petulant AG decides to go after. Fuck Ken Paxton.

There's way less evidence of a ton of historical figures and events that are taken for granted as established history. Just my two cents
