The premise behind a gravitational sensor is to detect changes to a local space time, in space.

Would it be sorta like how we use sensitive machines to detect vibrations from earthquakes?

Or would it not be possible because the sensor itself would interfere with the readings?

I searched for the engine briefly, and found no mention of anyone thinking of this.

In my original comment, I note that I immediately think the strain would blow the entire thing a part.

What are your reasons of why you think would not work, or why no one has tried, or maybe you know someone who did try?

Note, Not the size of a car. More like the size of a cargo ships diesel engine. ("Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C" as an example)

A friend of mine wants to be more secure and private in light of recent events in the USA.

They originally told me they were going to use telegram, in which I explained how Telegram is considered compromised, and Signal is far more secure to use.

But they want more detailed explanations then what I provided verbally. Please help me explain things better to them! ✨
