The EU has weakened their green farming rules. The UK has strengthened theirs with replacement policy
I voted to leave the EU. I work in agriculture and the CAP just funds wealthy landowners and has incentivised the destruction of the environment.
Increased spending on war machines increases GDP. It's not good for the country though. The opportunity cost is huge
