I second the wired camera recommendation, at least for a few critical cameras.
WiFi cameras are vulnerable to a de-auth attack. It's fairly trivial now to make a device that will kick all WiFi devices off of a particular network. It's not so bad if they record internally and are inaccessible. If they can be reached, once someone is inside, or if they don't record, they can be bypassed completely, or stolen.
This does all depend on the level of protection required. Basically, are you worth the effort of targeting, or is it just to dissuade opportunistic attempts.
Most areas of our brain can only do 1 task at a time. If you try and do more, it flips rapidly between them. Basically, you would "watch" vaguely 30-50% of each show, with your brain trying to fill in the gaps.
Interestingly, you can do 2 tasks that don't share significant resources. This is how you can both drive a car and listen to a podcast. It's also why you suddenly need to turn down the music when you need to navigate, or park. Those require use of general cognition, which the music/podcast was using.
An interesting example of this is time keeping. Some people can talk and keep an accurate mental timer. However they will lose track when looking at images. Others will be the reverse, or something different.
It turns out that humans don't have a consistent time keeping mental circuit. We hijack other systems. If you "hear" the time passing, you will struggle to also hear someone talking without issues. If you visualise a clock, you can talk, but your visual cognition is now occupied.
I do love how the side effects (leaking improbability) were critical to the story making any plausible sense.
Throw in bistro-mathematics as an alternative star drive.
It's also worth noting the implication of the full phrase. If you remove the bad apples quickly enough, then you can save the rest. If you can remove the corrupt elements, then you can protect the group overall. If you leave them to fester then you'll have a lot more cutting required to clean up.
Depending on the location (mostly motorway services), I will often do something else before picking up food. E.g. go wash my hands properly. I've been known to misjudge the time required and be a minute or 2 late. Sometimes the wait can be long enough that I will go sit down for a bit. Again, I sometimes misjudge.
