I sure am! Not comparing myself to anybody on here, though.

That's me, too.

I use Facebook twice a year and I don't have accounts anywhere else but Lemmy. I don't think I use this as Social Media in the usual sense. I'm not following individual people because I don't care who y'all are. Only your content. I'm not posting stuff about myself because I'm boring as heck.

Once an anomaly is defined, I usually find it easier to build a regular alert for it. I guess the ML or LLM would be most useful to me in finding problems that I wasn't looking for.

That's where I am too.

Our devs are implementing some ML for anomaly detection, which seems promising.

There's also a LLM with MCP etc that is writing the pull requests and some documentation at least, so I guess our devs like it. The customers LOVE it, but it keeps making shit up and they don't mind. Stuff like "make a graph of usage on weekdays" and it includes 6 days some weeks. They generated a monthly report for themselves, and it made up every scrap of data, and the customer missed the little note at the bottom where the damn thing said "I can regenerate this report with actual data if it is made available to me".

Bad Obsession Motorsport ! I've been watching them build a Mini rally car for 12 years. They keep getting distracted by perfectionism and I'm very here for it.

A good take. Love this group!

It is. I found it interesting!

The Three Body Problem. I hated it, but I think I'm in the minority. I found the Cultural Revolution parts interesting, and the tech /cultural infiltration neat, but most of the book I hated. Could not care less about these beef jerky bastards.

I've no doubt; I'm just teasing!

I don't know shit about shit, but I really want to see your WIP and finished pics! This sounds like an awesome project.

TBF, nothing was running the display when you took the pictures!

A trans parent would likely still want to be called "Mom" or "Dad", I assume. At least that's the case with the few trans parents I know.

Parents don't usually use "daughter" or "son" as pronouns, so I don't think it would come up with non-binary children.

Do children of non-binary parents call their parents by their first name? It seems unlikely that they say "Parent, may I please have more screen time?".
