All of which has nothing to do with what engine is in the car.

There's no such thing as "the peak of an average waveform", since it doesn't make sense to average them.

They range from 20 Hz to 20000hz, so they have lengths between 2 cm and 1700 cm and peak everywhere in between.

What he was doing was attempting to avoid phase cancellation from stereo, which is an actual issue. You simply have to place yourself in the center, so that the distance to each speaker is the same.

It's an issue for low frequencies, which have long wavelengths, carry a lot of energy and are usually centered (to avoid phase issues in the first place), so it is both possible and audible if they cancel out after leaving the speakers. However, since they're long, it also means that there is some wiggle room. Obviously there's a perfect spot, but It won't have any noticable negative effect unless you're like 1 meter away from that and accidentally sit in the perfectly bad position. It is not as much of an issue for higher frequencies, since they have much shorter and more complex wavelengths, that are not necessarily centered in the first place. Even if they also theoretically do cancel out, it is unlikely that you would notice it happening at all, and if you do, you could simply move your head 1 cm to get into the right spot again.

In a car, the driver position is sort of fixed. It would make sense to angle the speakers for this purpose.

I think it's interesting, that they can steal all this stuff and yet be unable to figure out how to sell it.

All the money, all the data, all the energy, all the computer power, all the political control. And yet, they can't manage to sell a single dollar worth of their product.

Of course it'll be shittified by commericals in and out of the content, and of course that will lead to paid models, but it's not going to be very profitable, because nobody _really _needs bad intelligence. "Oh, it costs something? No thanks then, we already have intelligence at home."

Yes yes, the users are the product, yes, but who then is buying that user data? Commercials and stuff yeah yeah, but at what point does any of this manifest itself as a single fucking sales transaction where a real person pays a company for a real product? Fucking never.

The whole thing is worthless.

It's still a cool border agreement though. The new border goes right down the middle of the island, but it is agreed that whoever manages to get their sorry ass to that piece of cold rock are free to roam the entirety of it.

They should make a TV show.

F.R.E.U.N.D.E.

I have subscribed to a few skateboard channels that I have followed for a long time. Not because of the tricks, because quite frankly, these guys are not the best skaters, but they make good content for old skaters like myself who don't care much about the latest tricks.

Ben Degros. Perhaps better known for his other channel The Vancouver Carpenter. Well, he's also a skateboard product connoisseur, who can smell the difference between different presses of deck concave and wheel sizes.

Jon Bishop. An old fart from UK who started skating at an old age and walks through all the basics and thoughs of beginner and intermediate tricks.

And obviously: The Skate Nomad. Mike Boisvert. A (relatively) young Canadian dude who quit everything and set out to live the dream of skateboarding in every country in the world, while couch crashing at locals the entire way. It's interesting to see the differences and similarities in cultures world wide from this perspective.

I have come to the conclusion that everything, from the largest galaxy clusters to the tiniest quark and all the laws of physics, is nothing more than a fractal caused by rotation in the initial moment of creation of our local instance of existence that we call the universe. There are no particles, no waves. Only rotation.

So I guess the kids are gonna go to the dark web. What could go wrong.

I will look forward to Darth Musk throwing a tantrum against Australia when they eventually fine X for not complying, but that's about the only good thing to come from this ban.

Oh yes sure, it's great they stop the kids from being brainwashed by the algorithms. They really should ban everyone, especially the elderly.

Based on your description I'm going to take a wild guess: Your father is a "functioning addict".

It explains everything, including his self destructive behavior.

Land can be bought everywhere in all price ranges. The real hurdle is whether you can legally live there or what requirements there are, due to zoning and building codes.

I think the easiest way to get a self sustaining home with as little legal issues as possible is to buy an already legal home with the grid connection, but then just don't use it.

If I were young and single again, I would look into auctions of derelict farms. Tear down the old building and instead build a small totally legal connected up to code cabin with water, waste and electricity connection. Then use the rest of land to do whatever actually interest me, while complying to the bare minimum of legal requirements for that land.

I don't remember asking Grok a god damn thing.

Cool..how can I get it?

They too should suffer my endless search history for obscurities. I want them to download all of my USB storage of virus infected malware. I will sit idly and tap my fingertips against each other while my SMS messages corrupt their society from within.
