Well… mods and bots can push an agenda, but it’s usually not a big issue in smaller forums.

This is forums not social media. Anonymous conversations on topics that I’m interested in. I’m not following anyone and I don’t see anyone’s history.

This just shows that there is no correlation between beliefs and intelligence. The knowledge you obtain gets applied on top of your belief system, often times doesn’t change your beliefs. I have a couple of doctor friends and I wouldn’t go to 1 of them if my life depended on it. She graduated from a Caribbean med school and is your typical maga.

Personally I think the winning language is the language that’s most spoken in the country you both live in. I have been the family translator since I was 6 and I’m exhausted. My parents speak English but they don’t always get things and they’re insecure about it so they’ve always relied on me to translate. They’re also really bad with decision making because they’re afraid that they’ll misunderstand something. Throughout my life we’ve always had weird arguments because we don’t understand each other.
