Never buy non-stick unless it's labeled PFAS-free. PFAS, also called "forever chemicals", are persistent organic pollutants which are a great way to fuck up the whole ecosystem

If the weight is a problem, you can always try carbon steel. It's similar to cast iron in it's use (seasoning and all that), but it is lighter.
In school as a teenager, about 20 years ago I think. I punched a bully twice my size straight in his face (not very hard since I'm weak, but he got pretty surprised). All the others knew not to fuck with me already because I'm autistic and lack some emotional stuff which can make me seem pretty unhinged, but he was the "ring leader" and got emboldened because I was also an outsider weirdo and that made me an easy target. I didn't get in any trouble because what would they even have told? lmao

As someone from the nordics this take on catholics vs. protestants is always somewhat hilarious to me, since here it's basically the other way around. Protestants are the secularized majority, and catholics are the weirdo extremists who'd more likely say things like the world is 6000 years old and that you're literally eating jesus lmao
