He was a jew, and wanted jewish bullshit "laws" followed

People like to write him up as a someone who would pass for a Bernie Sanders with a beard, but it's bullshit

Especially because there's not a shred of evidence that the magic stick-zombie even existed

They just want divine justification to hate the people they fear

Religious people are disingenuous by nature

Everything inconvenient is a metaphor, everything they like is the literal word of god and cannot be questioned

It depends

In Australia, we're happy to have people come here who will contribute to our society

Trump supporters aren't liked here, and we have great sympathy for people moving here from 'Murica to get away from the bullshit

My fiancée is from the US, and we're working on her visa

There are amazing opportunities here, particularly if you are interested in living outside of the big cities like Melbourne and Sydney

What a stupid comment

Intermittent faults are the absolute worst

So far, it's definitely less toxic

Fewer conservative dickheads, less crypto-bro bullshit, fewer incels and the like

Someone made a joke that didn't land well. I called them out for it, because it looked like they were being a misogynistic prick. We had a back and forth, they edited their comment to make it clear that it was a joke, not a bigoted belief, we had a good conversation and even a few others joined in with a swell of positivity

On reddit it would have probably escalated into something unpleasant, but here everyone actually had a laugh about it and we all noted the difference in positivity

There are still creepy children posting stuff in places like asklemmynsfw and annoying porn bots, but it's still better overall by a lot

It's going to be interesting to see what Digg becomes

I have learnt how to fix a whole lot of things after realising that

Or, I learnt other things that can go wrong, without consequences

However, there's: "it's not working right" and there's "it's not working"... It's usually important to recognise that difference

I was just about to say that

I worked on something that literally said "to test this thing, hit it here with a screwdriver" because it was known to be a point where a soldered joint would fail

I used to bash the shit out of some stuff with a hammer to prove my diagnoses. It wasn't working anyway, so I couldn't break it more, and I was usually proved correct when I was able to replicate the failure
