You can never hit a wall with programming. You can always keep improving your scripts. You could add observability or logging. Try different languages. Create a DSL for it.

Check out Language Oriented Programming with Racket.

Create a full test suite. Unit tests. Integration tests.

Where are you running your scripts? Do you have a deployment pipeline?

Workflow tools like Apache Airflow make for nice observability.

Ok, honestly, is cast-iron really any better than a non-stick, stainless, copper (anything else?) pan? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

In the US we have Breast Cancer Awarnes month and a bunch of others. All we do is throw money at a problem and hope it goes away How come the Gov don't take care of people from starving? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

In the scheme of things, the interruption of SNAP benefits was a blip. A cruel blip, but I don't think it's fair to say we don't do anything.
