By ratio, there are way more communists than on Reddit. There are three major groups, anarchists, Marxist-Leninists, and liberals, and each instance tends to have more of one or maybe 2 than the others. Getting a feel for instance culture goes a long way.

There are three major groups, anarchists, Marxist-Leninists, and liberals

And socialists

[โ€“] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Marxism and anarchism are the most comprehensive umbrellas in the socialist side, and there are very few non-Marxist-Leninist Marxists on Lemmy in my experience. Don't really know what you mean by "socialist" that isn't already covered.

They already said that

And liberals

It's a joke to be fair

Afaik "Liberals" refers to the lib-right, and that conservatives misuse it to refer to the lib-left

Capitalists who think the corporations should be free to screw us over without the government stopping them

Correct me if im wrong

As cowbell said, liberalism covers any ideology that seeks to maintain capitalism, whether by letting the corporations be free to screw you over, or reinforcing capitalism with a welfare state while actual power remains with the capitalist class.

[โ€“] RiverRock@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Maoista are fine with being called Maoists, Stalinists are not a thing

I have a feeling your username is sarcastic, but that's because my sarcasm detector broke earlier today, need to fix it.
