My opinion, opposite from others, is start with a cheap one and see if you even like the concept. Maybe you don't even like bullet vibes. You can learn that for 20 euros or 200. I think, better to buy a cheap one first and upgrade once you know you like it.
Do you actually want something that works through your phone? That's a lot of hassle and if you are using it on yourself. Your phone will get all gooey. It'll be difficult to hold the phone and the vibe at the same time. If you aren't already looking at your phone, going into it will be distracting. If you are looking at your phone as part of the experience, you'll have to switch out of whatever you are doing. It is a lot easier to use a more classic one with a tactile control (dial or buttons). Wired style means vibe part itself is lighter, while you can have more battery in the controller box.
cheap, old fashioned bullet vibes
You can get them in silicone if you prefer.
If you specifically want a wireless one, then you should expect to pay some for all the extra electronic components and complexity compared to the above. Assuming you want it to work reliably.
Ideally you will go somewhere that has the demo items displayed so you can turn them on and handle them. You will get an idea of what they can do for you. Did you go to some little "boutique" "top drawer" place? Try to find somewhere with a wider selection. Even a small sex store should have several devices of this type to compare.

The markup is a lot, what is pays for is the rent, bills and payroll of running a brick and mortar location that is available so you can go and handle a bunch of toys before you buy them. It is a lot of overhead. So it's good to buy stuff from those places when you can to keep them open for when you need them. At least a bottle of lube.
