I'm not against using AI. I do myself. But I use it as a starting point only when a traditional web search hasn't yielded a useful article, documentation, etc. Then I will ask AI to get ideas and will use those ideas to refine my web search, the goal being to find a piece of human written documentation as a source of truth.
Boss on the other hand takes ChatGPT output as source of truth. I don't agree with that. I've seen too many hallucinations, too much bullshitting.
As for writing with AI? Its insulting to the reader. If I'm going to be expected to spend time reading it, then spend time writing it yourself so I know I am not wasting my time reading pointless garbage.
