The concept is identical, but depending on the execution it can be quite different.
This like saying that classical music is the same as pop/rock just because they are both music that entertains people, some people hate classical music, other's hate pop/rock.
I would like to know how often these different calls to prayer is being played and how long each call takes, as well as how loud they both are in comparison.
Depends where in the world you are. Some places have had the foresight to regulate the loudness, priximity to housing and the time window where you are allowed to make noise. Other places in the world have different temples competing on which one can afford the loudest megaphone, placing them right outside some poor peoples appartments, knowing they are immune to criticism.
Islam: 5 times per day. ~3 min each.
Church bell frequenzy vary more per local tradition.
Also some regulate it to "only during special events" like religious holidays etc
