What useful AdvancedSearch tricks do you know? (sopuli.xyz)

i'll open with a classic:

filetype:pdf *title of file or article*

Replace pdf with other file extensions

*Btw, Does the +sign next to a search term have any added effect to simply providing that keyword? If I want all the keywords I've boiled the search down to, should I not put a + sign next to each and every keyword to make it clear I need all the terms to co-occur? Or wouldnt "it" infer that I want to see all three together in some manner or I would have used ANDs, ORs, and the like?
