Just going to remind everybody that in no way does any corruption, scandal, etc mean that Russia's violation of Ukraine's sovereignty become justified.

I saw the videos in the first days of civilians being slaughtered in their cars.

Corruption bad. Does not mean invading them is fair game. Especially when the invading country has much more, and more obvious, corruption.

Yeah, interesting article, but in the context of being posted on Lemmy, I'm immediately left asking questions on the intent here. "Zelensky did a bad thing" is the kind of domino that some people in these parts would use to start the "and this is why Russia has to murder civilians" discussion.

Confirmation bias can be a hell of a drug. I hope that any corruption is properly investigated, just not by a hostile, Imperialist nation using force of arms.

Ok. There's clearly been some instances corruption and that warrants concern. On the other hand, this article seems to lack ...uh... situational awareness. Foreign countries trying to micromanage the aid they're providing Ukraine while the country is fighting a full scale war is assinine.

That's like having to deal with FEMA (which is a huge pain in the ass) while a tornado is ripping through your living room and you're just trying to not die.
